Aiki Throws Workshop


Instructor & Supervisor: Yoshihisa Ishibashi (President of Daito-ryu Aiki Budo Harukaze-kai)
Born in Tokyo in 1938. Ishibashi entered the Daito-ryu Aiki Budo Headquarters, Daito-kan, in 1964. He received instruction in Daito-ryu Aiki Budo and Ono-ha Itto-ryu from Takeda Tokimune Soke. In 1969, he established the Tokyo Katsushika Branch and became its first branch chief. Besides promoting and teaching Daito-ryu, he also studied under the headmaster of Ono-ha Itto-ryu, Junzo Sasamori Sensei, receiving licenses in various martial arts including Shaolin Temple Kung Fu and Chen-style Tai Chi.
